So what exactly is pre-construction termite protection?
Well, when constructing or renovating your home or commercial premises, there are systems that can be installed during the building process to protect against the future threat of termites. This can save you time, money and hassle compared to retrospectively tackling the problem. At Sandy Straits Pest Control, we use FMC Homeguard and TermX Reticulation systems.
HomeGuard is installed during construction to the concealed areas and is proven to effetely block, repel, and kill subterranean termites. The system Homeguard is impregnated with the leading termiticide Bifenthrin. It is a versatile, single layer product, that provides termite protection for the designed life of the building.
TermX Reticulation is a simple and robust reticulation line. It is installed to the perimeter of the building, and makes reinstating termites easy in to the future with minimal to no disruption. Areas of installation can also include extensions, construction joints, posts, poles, etc.
We have the industry leading systems when integrated with the building can form a very complete and sturdy termite solution. Some industry systems may include Kordon, Trithor, Termimesh, TERM-seal, Protectant, JH Termite Barrier, Greenzone, Termifilm etc…
